This is one of his representative works, inspired by the Naruto whirlpools he saw while traveling in Tokushima Prefecture.
The carved shadows create a unique atmosphere, and the piece has a strong presence while blending in with both Japanese and Western interiors. Thanks to the beauty of its perfect form, even without the need for decorative color, the lustrous shine of the reflected light and the shadows cast on the surface are projected like patterns, allowing you to enjoy the way its appearance changes depending on where it is placed.
